The list of celebrities that are rockin' Apple Watches is very impressive, and it is awesome to see J.J. Abrams wearing one. J.J. Abrams is the hottest movie director working today, and will likely go down in history as being one of the absolute greatest directors.
The photo above of J.J. Abrams was taken today at the Star Wars Celebration Festival in Anaheim California, where he showcased for the all-new Star Wars: The Force Awakens Official Teaser #2 Trailer, which can be viewed below.
The Star Wars Event was amazing, and it included all the primary original cast member as seen below, including Peter Mayew (Chewbacca The Wookie), Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Liea) and Anthony Daniels (C3P0). Only Harrison Ford (Hans Solo) was missing, since he is still recovering from his airplane accident.
J.J. Abrams is pictured again below at the end of the event, after he took off his ballcap, and as we see he is wearing what appears to be a custom-made blue Apple Watch Sport Strap, which matches the R2D2 model in front of him (seen in the second photo below).
I must say I believe we are living in the most amazing of times, and to see the already super-iconic Apple Watch next to the super-iconic R2D2, is just amazing and heartwarming at the same time. It also give me a deja vu feeling to see the Apple Watch next to R2D2, and if you think about it, the Apple Watch really is kind of like having your own real life R2D2!!!!
